CELEBRITY JUICE

The intended audience for celebrity juice is aimed at 16-25 year olds but occasionally older generations might watch it. The reason it is aimed at this age group is predominantly because of the language and references used. In this century, strong language is more accepted and used on a regular basis whether its to insult someone or in just general conversation. The meaning of these words, to a certain extent, have been lost and this is one reason why strong language is more accepted.
The programmes main aim is to entertain its audience and give them an escape from reality for an hour and enable them to relax and forget about things.
Keith Lemon is the host of Celebrity Juice with Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby being the ongoing team captains. By keeping the same team captains allows the audience to connect more with the programme as they can relate to the jokes and references made by Keith Lemon.
Celebrity Juice will have been filmed for a lot longer than the show is shown for and therefore the selection process has been used to obtain all the best scenes to make the programme more enjoyable and entertaining. Each week different celebrities join Fearne and Holly which widens the audience as someone may like a particular celebrity and therefore want to watch the show because that celebrity is on. It also has a variety of challenges and tasks to do which is, again, for entertainment.
Up beat music is generally played to create a positive vibe and enhance viewers to watch the show.
On this particular episode Ant and Dec are featured which will therefore appeal to certain people.
Although all the people on the programme are celebrities we tend to focus on Keith Lemon more, as he is the main person of the show and has the most authority.

SEXUALITY
RAINBOW LACES

This news article is representing sexuality in a positive light as they feel that being gay shouldn't stop football players from playing football and it needs to be accepted and supported so people don't keep a secret that can internally be destroying them. If football clubs decide to wear and support this case then it will help younger generations, that idolise football teams, become more accepting of sexualities around them and also help them be open about their sexuality, knowing that it won't restrain them from job opportunities.

AGE
KARDASHIANKOLOR

Age is being represented in a false way in this newspaper article because two teenagers - Kendall and Kylie Jenner have earned a huge amount of money from supporting a nail polish line. This is a false representative of teenagers because minus the exceptions of celebrities (which they happen to be) the average teenager does not earn this amount of money.

RACE
SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

Slumdog Millionaire represents race well as the main characters are Indian and the film is predominantly set and filmed in India. It shows how poor some peoples lives were and how much poverty they were actually living in. The is a fairly accurate representation because India today is still in poverty and many children have to fight for survival on their own. It also shows the traumatic life of Jamal Malik (main character) which represents how dangerously some young children have to live.

GENDER
BRITAIN AND IRELAND'S NEXT TOP MODEL

In this programme, depending on your views on models, they are being represented in both good and bad ways. They are being represented in a good way because they are models and generally, especially commercial models, are seen as 'inspirations' to young girls which is what this programmes aim is - to promote modelling. However in some peoples opinions they are being represented in a bad way as some shoots and types of modelling uses models as objects for, in particularly, men to look at. There is an element of false representation as models do not represent the average woman but Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model is aimed at a specific audience - young teenagers who enjoy watching fashion and modelling programmes.

CLASS
CHAVS

This newspaper article, from the Daily Mail, is portraying underclass 'chavs' in a negative light, explaining that they live off benefits by being unemployed and are the largest generation to become single mums with no education or social skills. The image the magazine has used is a very stereotypical picture of a chav wearing a cap and big earrings. In addition to this the magazine used statistics to back up their negative perspective of chavs.
