Slumdog Millionaire represents race well as the main characters are Indian and the film is predominantly set and filmed in India. It shows how poor some peoples lives were and how much poverty they were actually living in. The is a fairly accurate representation because India today is still in poverty and many children have to fight for survival on their own. It also shows the traumatic life of Jamal Malik (main character) which represents how dangerously some young children have to live.
